Mohammed wa Ali

محمد وعلي

Mohammed & Ali

Inspired by the historic medallion originally found at the apex of the dome of Al-Juyushi, and later replicated at the apex of the central dome of Jame Anwar, this work celebrates the depth and geometry of Fatimid design. The names Mohammed and Ali are repeated three times, interwoven to form a six-pointed star, and encircled by an inscription from the Holy Qur'an, 35:41. Through Kufic calligraphy, sacred geometry, and intricate ornamentation, the composition reflects divine order, continuity, and devotion.
